"Just Do You" - Lord Echo ft. Mara TK
I’m lucky to have friends with seriously good taste in music and am even luckier that they agree to share their music wth me. I have a running collaborative playlist with one friend that he kindly updates on the reg. One of his recent additions was this monster jam by New Zealand artist, Lord Echo (aka Mike Fabulous).
“Just Do You,” released in 2016, sounds like a track straight out of the ‘60s. The bass line along with the funky guitar and falsetto of Mara TK drive the song but the bongos and horns make this a dance floor must.
Not only does the song musically encourage you to move your body, the lyrics really encourage you to let go and “just do you.”

Estoy súper afortunada de tener amigos con buen gusto musical y más que eso, siento afortunada de que comparten su música conmigo. Tengo un playlist colaborativo con un amigo y uno de sus contribuciones nuevas era este gran tema del productor de Nueva Zelanda, Lord Echo (alias Mike Fabulous).
“Just Do You,” lanzado en 2016 suena como si fuera directamente de los años ‘60. El bajo con la guitarra y el falsete de Mara TK son integral a la canción pero los bongos con las trompetas lo convierten en un tema perfecto para la pista del baile.
No solo la música te anima a moverse el cuerpo como quieras, sino la letra que se dice “sea tu mismo.”
